Parenting Classes 2005- 2006 Schedule


• PARENTING 101: Designed for parents looking for ways to cultivate their youth mentally and physically in home and abroad.
• Minimum 8 sessions

• FATHERHOOD: Designed for all fathers, new and teen looking for answers to important family questions and enhancing their role in a family setting.
• Minimum 5 sessions

• ANGER MANAGEMENT: Designed for all families, Parents and youth struggling with their unstable communication methods and violent outbreaks.
• Minimum 8 sessions

THIS CLASS IS OFFERED TO PARENTS AND YOUTH TOGETHER WILLING TO LEARN A NEW TECHNIQUE FOR ACCOUNTABILITY.

CLASSES ARE OFFERED MONDAY-THURS; 6PM -8PM
INDIVIDUAL AND IN HOME SESSIONS AVAILABLE

THE HOMEWORK ROOM

“The Homework Room” is designed to enhance the reading and educational levels of youth and families through tutoring and learning.

“The Homework Room is designed for youth in the community that do not have access to computers or the internet.

Hrs of operation 3pm – 6pm
Homework Room agreements are available upon request.

Free tutoring available by appointment

THE B.I.P.
THE BULLY INTERVENTION PROGRAM

The B.I.P. is designed to educate youth and families about the causes and effects of bullying.

Mission: To break the growing global problem of bullying

Objective: To redirect youth and families to healthier surroundings, good life and social choices.


Is designed to educate young women ages 11 and older to become productive women of tomorrow.

Vision: To empower young women to embrace a higher echelon of self-confidence.

Objective: Exercising programs that will enhance a young lady’s outlook on growing pains, decision-making and life skills

Target Population: All young women ages 11 and up

 

CCSI STAGE 8 PROGRAM

CCSI Stage 8 is an educational series that introduces and helps provide today’s youth with the life management skills needed to become successful adults. Between 10 and 18 years of age our children are faced with numerous challenges and pressures. Learning how to deal with these challenges and pressures presented by everyday life can make the difference between success and failure in the today’s society.

PURPOSE: To develop teens in a two part 8 area skills training, by enhancing youths ability to succeed and become a more productive citizen.
